"Saline-Alkali Tolerant Rice Planting Festival" kicked off in Qingdao, a coastal city in east China's Shandong Province.

The Festival this year will be held in 5 provinces across China. As of the end of 2021, the planting scale of saline-alkali tolerant rice has reached 400 km2.
