Today marks Earth Day, a date aiming to unite individuals worldwide to protect the planet.

Earth Day was first celebrated in the United States on April 22, 1970, and eventually spread to 192 countries. Now it is an annual celebration that honors the achievements of the environmental movement and raises awareness of the need to protect Earth’s natural resources for future generations.

The theme for Earth Day 2022 is “Invest In Our Planet”. The key point here is to act in a bold way, innovate in a broad way, and implement in an equitable manner.

Today, Earth Day is widely recognized as the largest secular observance in the world, marked by more than a billion people every year as a day of action to change human behavior and create global, national and local policy changes.

Today is the perfect time to honor and appreciate the sustainability of the only planet that nurtures us. Let’s take good care of the unique earth.
